BAREROCK
COUNSELLING AND WELLBEING SUPPORT PROGRAMME
This page is for BareRock Club Members only.
AIM
The programme aims to support the mental health and wellbeing of individuals within BareRock’s Club Member firms who are dealing with the strain of high-stress complaint situations, by covering the costs of professional counselling.
BareRock will fund up to 10 one-hour counselling sessions per claim, subject to a £2,000 cap, with no policy excess payable by the Club Member firm.
WHO IS IT FOR?
This support is designed to help business owners, senior leaders, and employees who often find themselves directly involved in managing complex and pressure-filled complaints while juggling multiple responsibilities in highly regulated businesses.
WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
At CPW we recognise the unique challenges faced by businesses in the financial services sector, where the responsibility of handling complex complaints often falls on business owners or senior leaders.
Dealing with these high-stress situations can be overwhelming and take a significant toll on an individual’s overall wellbeing, affecting not only their professional lives but also their personal lives.
BareRock’s counselling services aim to support individuals as they navigate the challenges of their roles. This programme helps develop strategies for better stress management, work-life balance, and mental health prioritisation.
With this support, leaders can more effectively guide their businesses and teams while maintaining their personal wellbeing, even during difficult periods. The service recognises the interconnectedness of personal and professional lives, understanding that support in one area positively impacts the other.
SUPPORT FOR EMPLOYEES
If your employer is a BareRock’s Club Member, then you can talk to someone in confidence and share your worries so that you can find your way to feeling great again.
You don’t have to wait for it to build into a problem. Our trained mental health practitioners are here to help. You will be speaking with a trained professional within 24 hours – often sooner.
You may just want a quick chat or some advice or you may want to talk at length to someone you can trust.
This initial conversation may resolve the issue, or you can access additional sessions with the therapist, which might include various methods such as mental health coaching, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), or solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT). These are informed techniques that provide guided self-help on how to manage these types of problems and promote the individual’s wellbeing.
Whatever route you choose, we are there to support and guide you. It’s always better to be proactive and nip things in the bud. So, even if you think it’s not a major problem, please call us.
